Biography
Riccardo Livi Born in Prato on April 4, 1953.Graduated in Medicine and Surgery on 24.10.1980 at the University of Florence with the highest grades and praise (Effects of Inhibition of Enzyme Conversion of Angiotensin on the Bloodstream of the Forearm in Arterial Hypertension). Specialization in Medical Nephrology with the highest marks and praise in November 1983 (Maximum urinary concentration capacity in essential hypertension) PhD in Chronobiology in 1990, with a thesis on 'The Chronobiological Assessment of Arterial Blood Pressure Variability'. ASSISTANCE ACTIVITIES In service since 01/01/1991 at the University of Florence, currently Researcher confirmed at the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. Senior Medical Manager, AOU Careggi, SOD Internal Medicine 3; he opted for the free profession.intramoenia. He is responsible for the Specialization Department dedicated to Arterial Hypertension and Nephrology of SOD Internal Medicine at OACA 3. Research Interest
Scientific activity was mainly carried out in the fields of arterial hypertension, chronobiology and nephrology; it mainly focused on the clinical use of non-invasive automatic blood pressure monitoring, the study of pre-pregnancy arterial pressure and renal involvement in rheumatic diseases.
