Actual position: Associate Professor (SSD BIO / 05) since July 2015 National Abilitations: Enrollment for Ordinary Professor (the band) for the competition sector 05 / B1 (Zoology) Enrollment to Associate Professor (II band) for the competition sector 07 / D1 (Entomology) Extraordinary academy of the National Academy of Entomology since 2013 Visiting Professor: Visiting Professor from Université Paris 13 (Paris, France) for the year 2012. He has been visiting Visiting Professor at the University of Paris 13 Laboratories in February and December 2012.

Biology of social insects. Evolution of social interactions. Chemical and visual communication in social insects. - Social parasitism. Mechanisms of parental integration in host colonies. The evolution of parasitic behavior.
