Degree in Theoretical Philosophy (1985) at the University of Florence - Thesis titled The theoretical-observatory dichotomy in the current epistemological debate Ph.D. in Philosophy (1992) at the University of Florence - Dissertation titled Act, content and object: the theory of intentionality in Edmund Husserl Certificat de Spécialisation en Philosophie at the University of Geneva (1991) - Dissertation titled The Problem of Occasional Expressions in the Logische Untersuchungen by Edmund Husserl Post-doctoral degree at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Florence (June 1995-November 1997) Researcher of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Florence (December 1998) Associate Professor of Gnoseology (November 2000) Extraordinary Professor of Gnoseology (November 2005) Professor of Gnoseology (February 2009) Professor of Theoretical Philosophy (October 2012) Since 2004 I have been conducting, together with Paolo Parrini and Alberto Peruzzi, the "Epistemological" (until 2013 Guerini and then Mimesis).
