Biography

June 26, 2000: Master's Degree, Foreign Language and Literature Faculty (Univ. Pisa). Thesis title:   Between reality and fiction: the utopia of the diary doders. Translation of a choice of steps taken byTangenten. Aus dem Tabeguch eines Schriftstellers 1940-1950 by Heimito von Doderer (Tutor: Prof. Dr. Marina Foschi) . June 16, 2006: Ph.D. in German Linguistics, Department of Linguistics (University of Pisa). Thesis title:  Zum DaF-Erwerb ausgewählter grammatischer Strukturen der deutschen Sprache bei italophonen Study of the Pisaner Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and Literature (Tutor: Prof. Dr. Marina Foschi Albert, University of Pisa, Prof. Dr. Horst Sitta, Univ Zürich). 2004: Title of Cultivator of Matter for German Language, Foreign Language and Literature Faculty (Univ. Pisa). August 2006: Summer scholarship with DAAD-Sommerakademie Kulturkontrastive Grammatik and Pragmatik im Fach Deutsch als Fremdsprache, (Universität des Saarlandes).

Research Interest

Author of a monograph of linguistic style (teaching manual) and language essays devoted to his major research interests: foreign language learning and teaching, stylistic linguistics, textual and contrastive grammar. Currently, he is involved in the study of German connections, also in contrast with Italian, and is author of essays written in collaboration with other linguists (Prof. Dr. Miriam Ravetto, PA University of Eastern Piedmont - Vercelli, Prf. Hardarik Blühdorn Institut for Deutsche Sprache - Mannheim). Part of these essays are focused on the use of connectors chosen in literary texts, from which collaboration was also developed with literate colleagues (Dr. Serena Grazzini - RU University of Pisa).
