Born in Florence on January 27, 1953; she graduated in Biological Sciences on 04.07.1975; • Since October 23, 1978, he holds a CNR National Study Exchange. • Since 04.09.81 University Researcher in Discipline No. 71 (Human Anatomy) • Since 01.12.92 Associate Professor of Human Anatomy. • From 01.09.2000, Extraordinary Professor of Human Anatomy (SSD BIO / 16). • Author of more than 200 scientific publications • Member of the Doctoral School of Doctoral Studies in "Morphology and Human Morphology" • Coordinator of the integrated course "Human Anatomy" at the degree in Medicine and Surgery • Chair of the Bachelor Degree in Techniques of biomedical laboratory • Delegate of the Rector for Disability Issues and member of CNUDD (National University Disabled Disability Conference) • Delegate of the School of Human Health Sciences for Disabled Students • Coordinator of the Teaching Committee of the Degree in Medicine and Surgery • Member of the Junta of the undergraduate degree in obstetrics

Research Interest

The main research topics concern skeletal and myocardial muscular tissue, with particular reference to the effects of ischemia / reperfusion, morphological and functional alterations of the myocardium due to pressure and volume overload and myoblastic cell biology under different experimental conditions .
