Research Interest

In his research, Prof. Moretti focused largely on skin diseases such as tumors (in particular, lymphomas and melanoma), immune mediated dermatological diseases and pigmentation disorders.Using immunohistochemical and ultrastructural techniques, integrated with cellular and molecular biology methodologies and cell cultures, it mainly focused on translaction studies aimed at identifying the stages of tumor progression and clarifying the pathogenic causes of skin diseases. He has participated in international multicenter studies on skin diseases of his own competence. The scientific activity of Prof. Moretti is compiled in 122 extensive articles, 24 chapters of books, 200 reports and communications to national and international congresses, for a total impact factor of 290.
