Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1989 with 110/110 and praise. Specialization in Ophthalmology in 1993 with 70/70 and praise. University Researcher at Ophthalmology at the University of Florence from 01/07/1995, confirmed in 1998. Joined the IV year of the School of Specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolism Diseases. Head of Tomography Optics and Compliance Optics for Sicca Syndrome, co-responsible for the section for Diabetes Retinopathy. Holder of Ophthalmology Teaching in Degree Programs in Nursing and Health Sciences, Semeiotic Teaching and Ocular Surveillance Course at the Degree Course for Orthopedics and Ophthalmology Assistants and at the Ophthalmology School, in addition to to teachings in the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery.
Research Interest
Topics of prevalent interest: ocular surface and sicca syndrome, diabetic retinopathy and retina, diagnostics for back segment images (FA, OCT, ultrasound).
