Biography
He is currently Professor of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Florence.He taught at Università di Catania. He has been a researcher and has been a Visiting Scholar at the Istituto für deutsches und Europäisches Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht and at the Istituto für ausländisches und Internationales Privat- und Wirtschaftsrecht of the University of Heidelberg (Germany) and at Yale Law School (USA). He was a member of the Ministerial Commission for the Reform of Corporate Law set up at the Ministry of Justice (ie Commission Vietti), where he was responsible for the spa's financial structure (shares, bonds and financial instruments) and the group of enterprises. He is currently Chairman of the Cassa di Risparmio of Florence.
Research Interest
His research interests are currently focused on the financial structure and corporate governance systems of the capital company, as well as on the relationship between the law of financial markets and company law.
