STUDIES Graduated in Biological Sciences with a vote of 110 and praise on 110 with the thesis "Ultrastructures of the Tillandsia albida carpet (Bromeliaceae)" at the University of Florence. In 1998 he obtained his Ph.D. in Biosystemic and Vegetable Ecology (X cycle) with a thesis titled "Prodromo alla Flora dell'Umbria". RESEARCH ACTIVITY He has benefited from a study fund funded by the Cassa di Risparmio in Florence at the Neotropic Association (see under "Other") for scientific study of tropical plants (Mexico) under the responsibility of Prof. Luigi Brighigna of the University of Florence And collaboration with the same researcher until 1994 in the field of optical and electronic microscopy. He has been accredited with Prof. Gabbrielli at the Plant Physiology Laboratory of the University of Florence on Plant Textile Crops in the Field of Biology: from September 1995 to March 1996. He has collaborated with Tropical Herbarium in Florence in 1999. He collaborated with Professor Maggini of the University of Viterbo Dip. Agrobiology and Agrochemistry, University of Tuscia, Viterbo on the Molecular System of Coniferae and Chenopodiaceae (October-November 1999). The resulting publications are listed in the separate list. She has obtained a scholarship from the European Molecular Biology Lab (EMBL) on the Cell Cycle of Schizosaccharomyces pombe at the Laboratory of Physiology Celular at the University of Barcelona, ​​Spain, from November 1999 to April 2000. From April 2000 to April 2004, a research grant on "Systematic review of Boragineae in the Mediterranean area" at the Department of Plant Biology at the University of Florence.
