Biography

-February 1999: Degree in Biological Sciences at the Faculty of Physical and Natural Sciences of the University of Florence with the vote 108/110. Titles and scholarships -2000: Winner of a scholarship "Anna Villa Rusconi Foundation" with the project "Analysis of the role of interferon- chemochin-induced proteins (IP-10) and monocyte Induced by Interferon- (Mig) and their receptor (CXCR3 ) in the pathogenesis of proliferative glomerulonephritis. " Second ranked on 110 national candidates. -2001: Winner of a three-year scholarship of the Italian Foundation for Cancer Research (FIRC) for the project "Study of the functional mechanisms underlying the angiostatic effect of chemokines IP-10 / CXCL10, Mig / CXCL9, I-TAC / CXCL11 and PF4 / CXCL4, by identifying a new receptor variant of CXCR3 (CXCR3-B) " -2003: Specialization in "Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry" at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Florence. -2003: Winner of the competition for a fixed-term researcher at the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence, for the implementation of the Research Project "Therapies with stem cells taken from an adult subject". -2005: Winner of the Contest for Indefinite Researcher in Technical Sciences of Medical Laboratory (Scientific Disciplinary Area MED46) at the Department of Internal Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Florence.
