Biography

Laura Lasagni obtained her degree in Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Physical and Natural Sciences of the University of Florence in 1989; 2) achieved in 1990 the qualification of the profession of Biologist; 3) won for the years 1991-1993 a scholarship founded by Giuliana Cremascoli entitled "Biochemical markers in bone remodeling" 4) won in 1994 a scholarship created by the Florentine Association for the study of immunologic, endocrine, chemotherapeutic and radiopharmaceutical mechanisms that control neoplastic growth titled "Collagen crosslink metabolites for the osteopenia study included those of tumor origin "; 5) won in 1995 a scholarship established by the Florentine Association for the study of immunological, endocrine, chemotherapeutic and radiobiological mechanisms controlling neoplastic growth titled "Study of markers of bone metabolism in osteolytic metastases"; 6) won in 1997 a technical assistant, VI vocational qualification. Since November 1997 she has been employed as a technical assistant at the Department of Clinical Physiopathology, University of Florence;  7) won in 2005 a competition for an indefinite researcher in Internal Medicine (disciplinary disciplinary field MED09). Since January 2005 she has been employed as a researcher at Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence 8) won a competition for second-tier MEDAC disciplinary science professor in 2015. 9) has conducted and does the following didactic activity: course on "Immunological Techniques" during the Degree in Biotechnology, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Florence, from the academic year 2005-2006 Course on "Differentiation and Stem Cell Characterization Techniques" under the Biennial of Specialization in Regenerative Medicine of the Degree Course in Medical Biotechnology, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Florence, from the academic year 2005-2006; "Neoangiogenesis and post-stenotic revascularization through the use of endothelial progenitors" course in the Biennial of Specialized Medicine for Regenerative Medicine of the Degree Course in Medical Biotechnology, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Florence, from the academic year 2005-2006; course "Regeneration and restoration of renal function by using stem cells" within the Biennium specialist of Regenerative Medicine of the Degree Course in Medical Biotechnology, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Florence, from the academic year 2005-2006; holder of the "Regenerative Therapies in Cardiovascular Diseases" -ADE, graduate course in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, from the academic year 2013-2014; lecturer at the Specialization Schools of Nephrology, Allergology and Immunology, Genetics, from the academic year 2013-2014; 10) participated in the following upgrading courses: Residential course of the Oncology and Biomedical Sciences.
