Biography

April 1982: graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the University of Florence, discussing a thesis titled "Synthetic Perspectives in the Functionalization of Saturated and Unsaturated Lactones by Organometallic Derivatives", Prof. A. Ricci Relative Department of Chemistry Organic "U. Schiff", bringing the vote of 110 and praise. April 1983-September 1984: worked as a postdoctorial fellow under the direction of Prof. C. Eaborn at the University of Sussex (Brighton, UK) for two research projects titled "Sterically Hindered Organosilicon Compounds" and "Novel organometallic species and reactions ". January 1986-October 1988: he has done PhD thesis work at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences under the guidance of Prof. Gualtieri. October 1989: obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, discussing a thesis titled "Synthesis, Absolute Configuration and Enantioselectivity of 1,3-Oxatiolanic Nuclear Muscarinic Antagonists". December 1988-November 1989: she has held a scholarship for the Tecnofarmaci (Pomezia). November 1989: has been employed as a researcher at the Faculty of Farming of the University of Florence November 1998: has served as Associate Professor in CHIM / 08-Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Faculty of Farming of the University of Florence November 2001: he has been serving as an Ordinary Professor in CHIM / 08-Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Faculty of Farming of the University of Florence. Since 2009 she has been part of the Scientific Committee of Urbino's European School of Medicinal Chemistry (ESMEC).
