Since 2005, she has been the National Coordinator of the Multiple Sclerosis Study Group of the Italian Society of Neurology (SIN) and since 2006 she has been delegated Italian for Multiple Sclerosis at the European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS). The main research addresses concern CNS demyelinating diseases, and in particular multiple sclerosis (MS), with particular reference to epidemiological research, clinical trials, prognosis, neuropsychology, neuroimaging and drug-economic and socio-economic aspects. It carries out auditing activities for international scientific journals and for various scientific research institutes.
