Biography

Dr. Maria Rosa Biagini graduated from the University of Florence on 22/7/1987 with a vote of 110 and a praise of 110, discussing a thesis titled "Primitive Biliar Cirrhosis: symptomatic forms and asymptomatic forms ". He obtained the qualification for medical practice in 1988. He was the winner of the "Mary and Nicola Faccenda" graduation prize awarded to the best thesis in Medicine and Surgery on a topic of Internal Medicine discussed at the University of Florence in July 1986-July 1987. He was the winner of the "Punta Ala Award for Young Researchers" in April 1990, with a paper titled "Cells of Synthesis of Procollagens of Type I, III and IV in Normal and Fibrotic Liver". He was also the winner of the S.I.G.E. Industry 1989 for a research project to be carried out in the two-year period 1990-91. He completed his PhD in Applied Physiopathology at the Department of Clinical Physiopathology at the University of Florence on 31/10/93. She obtained her Specialization at the School of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at the University of Florence in 1995.
