Biography
Paola Chiarugi was born in Florence on September 5, 1965. 1989- graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Florence on December 12, with a vote of 110/110 and praise and mention of the award of the degree committee at the Department of Animal and Genetics Biology. 1890- Enable Biologist Profession 1996- obtained the title of PhD in Biochemistry 2000- obtained the title of Specialist in Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry. 1998- August 31st as a researcher in the disciplinary field BIO11 (Molecular Biology) at the Department of Biochemical Sciences of the University of Florence, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery 2001- the 01/11/2001 the dott. Paola Chiarugi serves as Associate Professor in the BIO10 (Biochemistry) disciplinary field at the Department of Biochemical Sciences of the University of Florence, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. 2005- 01/11/05 takes service as Ordinary Professor in the disciplinary scientific field BIO10 (Biochemistry) at the Department of Biochemical Sciences of the University of Florence, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery CURRENT POSITION: Paola Chiarugi is currently an extraordinarily professor of Biochemistry at the Department of Biochemical Sciences of the University of Florence, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. He is a member of the Center for Excellence for Scientific Research DENOTHE ', the International System for Evaluation of Scientific Research in the Field of Biology "Faculty of 1000" and of the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. DIDACTIC: The prof. Chiarugi has been in charge since 1998 of the integrated course of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. Since 2002 he has been a Biochemistry course in Biotechnology and a two-year specialization course in Biotechnology (Cell Biochemistry, General Methods and Cellular Cells Special Methods).
