Biography

Graduated in Psychology (with praise) at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". In 2003 he received the title of Doctor in Psychology and Cognitive Sciences. Since 2005 she has been a researcher at the University of Florence in SSD M-PSI / 01 (in the Department of Psychology). He collaborates with neuropsychological research with the Department of Neurological and Psychiatric Sciences of the University of Florence and as a peer reviewer with the Parkinson's Disease Society in London. Enrolled in the profession of psychologist and enrolled in the Order of Psychologists in Tuscany.

Research Interest

Visual Objects Processing: Visual recognition of objects and categorization processes investigated by behavioral and electrophysiological techniques (ERPs). Related behavioral and electrophysiological correlations of visual memory processes. Neuropsychology (deficiency of perception and categorization in healthy and pathological aging, alterations in cognitive processing in the basal ganglia pathologies with particular reference to Parkinson's Disease and Huntington's Disease). Influence of individual differences, emotional-emotional status, and metacognitive strategies on cognitive processing. This research area is investigated through both behavioral and electrophysiological techniques (ERPs). Related electrophysiological memory with particular reference to coding and recovery of emotional content stimuli.
