Biography
Roberto joined LaSalle as European Head of Financing in 2012. He oversees the borrowing and debt arrangements for LaSalle across Europe, focusing on the UK, France and Germany. Roberto has over 20 years of experience in corporate and commercial real estate finance across Europe, having worked in Paris, Madrid and Munich. He is fluent in German, English, Spanish and French.
Research Interest
Before joining LaSalle, Roberto worked as a Director of Global Workout at PBB Deutsche Pfandbriefbank in Paris, and as Director of Credit Risk Management at Hypo Real Estate in Paris and Madrid. His responsibilities covered structuring and underwriting over €1.4 billion worth of commercial real estate loans across Europe, to finance the acquisition and development of a wide range of property types including office, retail, logistics, hotels and residential. From 1996 to 2002 Roberto worked in various corporate finance departments at HypoVereinsbank in Munich.
