Biography
I was born on April 12th 1974, in Asola (MN, Italy). I graduated in Mathematics in 1997 from the University of Pavia, where I was a student at Collegio Ghislieri. I received my PhD in 2002 from the University of Milan. I appointed a position as an Assistant professor in Mathematical Analysis in 2001 in the University of Pavia (Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mathematics) and since 2011 as Associate professor. Since March 2016, I am Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics of the University of Milan

smart materials (as shape memory alloys and polymers) , phase transitions , phase separations , hydrogen storage , damage (of elastic and (thermo)viscoelastic materials) , contact with adhesion , collisions and fractures , plasticity
