Fabio Pezzoli
Associate Professor
Department of Experimental Physics
University of Milano-Bicocca
Italy
Biography
Fabio Pezzoli graduated in Physics in 2004 at the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy),thereby obtaining the Ph.D. in Nanostructures and Nanotechnologies in 2007. As a PhD candidate, Fabio Pezzoli had been visiting student at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz (Austria). From January 2008 he worked as a Post-doctoral associate at the Max-Planck-Institut für Festkörperforschung in Stuttgart (Germany) and at the Leibniz-Institut für Festkörper- und Werkstoffforschung Dresden (Germany). In 2010 he was awarded a research fellowship (assegno di ricerca) sponsored by the local government of Regione Lombardia. Since then he has been carrying out his research at the Department of Materials Science of the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy) and at the L-NESS centre of Como (Italy). Between June and July 2014 he has been visiting researcher at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées, INSA Toulouse (France).
