Biography

In 1997 he obtained his degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Second University of Naples. From 1998 to 2002 he held the PhD in "Human Morphology and Experimental (Macroscopic, Microscopic and Ultrastructural Morphology"). From 2004 to 2005 he worked as a research assistant at the Department of Experimental Sciences, Second University of Naples. From 2005 to 2007 he was a PhD student at the "Federico II" University in Pharmacy. Ph.D - Actual member of the Doctoral Committee of the PhD in Science in Health, with an administrative headquarters at the Department of Health Sciences, University of Molise. In the field of PhD, he has also conducted teaching and seminar activities. - During the three-year period 2007-2010 he supervised the activity of a doctorate in Health Sciences on a project for the control of the course. Educational activities in the university - In the framework of the ACCA regional project: from Reception to Care, it contributed to a dissemination pamphlet titled "Tips for Living Better and Aging Better" (edited by G. Oriani, N. Ferrara, M. Taglialatela, G Salvatori, D. Viggiano, R. Bracale, G. Corbi, C. Cortis, C. Di Cesare) Scientific Activity. Research topics and collaborations Scientific activity over the period 2007-2011 was mainly aimed at: (i) morphological and behavioral phenotyping of transgenic animals (publications 1, 5,6,7,8,9,10,11); (ii) characterization of cellular and tissue distribution of potassium channels (publications 2, 3, 4); (iii) in the field of studies on the regulation of locomotor activity (publications 1 and 6) participated in immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence techniques for the study of brain dopamine methods (publications 12,13). These studies were conducted in the experimental activities of the following research groups at the following Universities: Department of Health Sciences, University of Molise (Scientific Director Prof. Taglialatela), Department of Neuroscience, University of Naples "Federico II" (scientific director Prof. Annunziato) and other groups of the same University, Dip. Experimental Medicine, Second University of Naples (Scientific Director Prof. Sadile), Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf Institute of Experimental Psychology (Professor Huston and Prof. Dere). He also worked with the Faculty of Motor Science at the University of Rome Tor Vergata for a project of electromiography in cyclists (scientific director Prof. D'Ottavio) and with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Naples "Federico II" ( Scientific Director Prof. Cassinese), regarding an off-label project for membrane potential, the results of which have been subject to internal communications and are being submitted to specialized journals. He contributed to the writing of the project proposal "Establishing a network for the promotion, implementation and control of physical activity in the elderly" of the Molise Region under the State / Regions 57 / CSR 2009 agreement. He is a member of the Italian Society of Neurosciences (SINS) since 2007. He has served as Referee for various impact factor impact scientific journals
