Biography

Dr. Fausto Fasano was born in Salerno, Italy on February 20, 1975 and lives in Via Pietro del Pezzo, 54 / A, Salerno (SA), Italy. Since December 30, 2008, he joined the STAT Department and Science Faculty of the University of Molise, Italy, where he is currently Assistant Professor in Software Engineering and Operating Systems. From 2003 to 2006 he was Ph.D. student at University of Salerno. He received the Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Salerno on April 13 2007, defending a thesis titled `Fine-grained Management of Software Artefacts'. He received the Laurea Magistrale degree in Computer Science (cum laude) on March 24, 2004 at the University of Salerno, with a thesis titled "THE PROBLEM OF TRACCIABIILITY IN SOFTWARE ARTEFAT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS" (The traceability problem in software artifact management systems). He received a degree in computer science (cum laude) on July 17, 2003, with a thesis entitled "STUDY AND REALIZATION OF A SOFTWARE SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM" (Analysis and Design of a Software Artifact Management System). IEEE International Conference on Software Engineering (2005, 2006, and 2007), IEEE International Conference on Software Engineering (2006 and 2008) ), IEEE International Conference on Program Comprehension (2005 and 2006), IEEE International Workshop on Source Code Analysis and Manipulation (2005 and 2006), IEEE International Conference on Software Maintenance and Reengineering (2005, 2006, 2007, International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (2006 and 2007), IEEE Working Conference on Reverse Engineering (2006, 2007, and 2008)International Conference on Information Systems (2008 and 2009), International Symposium on Empirical Software Engineering and Measurement (2008), International Conference on Distributed Multimedia Systems (2008), IEEE World Congress on Computer Science and Information Engineering (2009). He was a member of the Scientific Secretariat of the II, III, and IV editions of the International School on Software Engineering, held at the University of Salerno between 2005 and 2007. He was Finance Chair of the V edication of the International School on Software Engineering, held at the University of Salerno in 2008. He is a member of IEEE, the IEEE Computer Society, and the ACM. His research activity is mainly focused on Software Engineering. His research interests include the management of global management, software development, software development, software development, reengineering, program comprehension, workflow management, document management, visual languages ​​and empirical software engineering.
