Prof. Lucia Mairo

Biography

Graduated in Biological Sciences in 1990 at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome, attended postgraduate training, the Laboratory Analysis of the Regional Hospital "A. Cardarelli ". In 1994 he specialized in Forensic Toxicology at the" Federico II "University of Naples. In the same year he won a CUM annual scholarship for the disciplinary field of Food Science and Technology held at the Molise University's Agrarian Faculty. In 1995 he attended the foreign lab: "Washington Singer Laboratoryes"of the University of Exeter, England to carry out research. In the years 1996-97 he obtained EEC and MIPA contracts, carried out at the laboratories of the University of Molise. In the academic year 1997/98 she has been a lecturer of the "Laboratory of botanical methodologies " as a contracted professor at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Molise. From 1998 to 2004 he was the technical manager (VII functional qualification) of the CSIM of the University of Molise collaborating with various disciplines of the Faculty of Agriculture and Science: Microbiology, Soil Chemistry, Animal Biology, Biochemistry, Plant Physiology, Plant Pathology, Ecology for which she also conducted SEM exercises. Since January 2005 he has been a researcher of ssd AGR / 16 at the Faculty of Agriculture of the same University. He teaches: "Microbiological Techniques" for the Specialized Degree Course in Food Science and Technology, the teaching of "General Microbiology and Agro-forestry Products" for the Degree in Forest Sciences. He attended national scientific conferences and international and training and updating courses to deepen the knowledge in the field of experimental techniques of Microscopy and Food Microbiology. He is co-author of scientific papers published on conferences or journals and correlator of various thesis studies. Collaborates on the development of local, national and international research projects.
