LODI Tiziana is Associate Professor of Genetics at the Faculty of Science, Department of Genetics Biology of Microorganisms Evolution Anthropology, University of Parma, Italy Professional Studies and Experiences: 1980. Degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Parma. 1984. Diploma of Specialization in Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Parma. 1983-2001. Research Interest
physiology, particularly in the field of energy metabolism, and genetic engineering and molecular biology of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast, including natural and oenological varieties, and non-Saccharomyces yeast species. use of yeast as a model organism for the study of mitochondrial diseases, in particular the pathologies leading to deletion or depletion of mitochondrial DNA, and mitochondrial biogenesis in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
