Biography
MORI Alessandra is graduated in Natural Sciences at the University of Parma and obtained his Ph.D. in Animal Biology (Ethology). he was appointed University Researcher for the Discipline Group No. 74 (Zoology) at the University of Parma and then Associate Professor of Zoology at the same University. He currently has the didactic responsibility of Zoology teaching in the Degree Course in Biology and also holds the Instructional Course of Invertebrates Zoology in the Degree in Biology and Ethology in the Degree Program in Conservation of Nature. He is currently a member of the following scientific societies: UZI (Italian Zoological Union), SIE (Italian Society of Ethology) and AISASP. To date, he is author of over 160 scientific publications in national and international journals as well as 16 disseminative publications of different genres.
Research Interest
ethological issues, with particular emphasis on the behavior and sociobiology of insect and insects (aggression, parental care, reproductive and competitive phenomena, predatory and racial behavior, recognition and communication mechanisms, slavery and effect of the ' imprinting) with regard to species of free life and social parasites of particular eco-ethological value.
