Biography
Prof. CAVALLI Enrico is graduated in Chemistry in 1983 at the University of Parma. After military service and some industrial experience he joined the Institute of Physical Chemistry at the University of Parma in 1988 with the degree of Graduate Technician. Since 2000 he is a Researcher at the Department of General Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Physical Chemistry at Parma University. Dr. Cavalli carries out his activity in the field of Chemistry-Physics. As regards the didactics, the following courses were commissioned in the past: Laboratory of Physical Chemistry 2 (Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry ) Industrial Physical Chemistry (Chemical Chemistry) Spectroscopy of Solids (Chemistry).
Research Interest
Development of new luminescent materials for technological applications. Optical spectroscopy and dynamics of excited states of inorganic solids activated with transition metals or rare earths. Solid State Chemistry and Spectroscopy.
