Dr. Prof. BIGI Franca is currently working as a professor in the Department of , University of Parma , Italy. His research interests includes The research activity spans different fields of Supramolecular Chemistry, Nanotechnology and Bio-organic Chemistry. In particular it regards the design and synthesis of: Ionophores for metal ions and anions for the recognition of human, plant and bacterial lectins .Amphiphilic systems as nonviral transfecting agents. Biomimetic catalysts for the cleavage of RNA nucleotides (Phosphorodiesterases), Site-specific contrast agents and drug-delivery systems, Detergents and additives for lubrificants and fuels with a multivalent core..
