Biography
Prof. CAUZZI Daniele Alessandro is graduated in Chemistry with praise in 1990 with a thesis titled: New aspects of the chemistry of cyanometals. He obtained the title of Research Factor in Chemical Sciences in 1995; Thesis title: "Polynuclear systems with multifunctional binders: synthesis, structural studies, and catalysis applications".Since 2001 he is Associate Professor of General Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry (SD CHIM03) Department of General Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry of Physics of University of the Studies of Parma. He worked for two periods in '91 and '93 at the Laboratoire de Chimie de Coordination, Université de Strasbourg, under the supervision of Dr Pierre Braunstein, a member of the Academy of Sciences. He is author and co-author of more than 50 articles on international journals and three national patents. It mainly deals with basic research on coordination compounds and metallurgical compounds and inorganic-organic hybrid materials obtained sol-gel.
Research Interest
- The chemistry of a new class of metallic zwitterionic complexes and the use of some of them as molecular thermometers. - The study, for application purposes, for example electrochemicals, and as catalysts, of polyaminoamidic hybrid polymers for the stabilization of metallic nanoparticles (Au, Ag, Pd, Pt). - The study of organic-siloxane hybrid polymers for the mechanical and chemical consolidation of stone materials
