Biography
Claudia Graiff graduated in Chemistry on 24/11/94 (110/110 and praise) at the University of Parma, discussing a thesis concerning the reactivity of selenured phosphines with carbonyl clusters and metallic complexes. Since then, he has been pursuing research activities at the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry of the University of Parma, dealing mainly with the study of the reactivity of tertiary phosphine calcogenides to carbonyl clusters and of mononuclear derivatives. During the three-year period 95/98 he attended the 11th cycle of the PhD program in Chemistry Sciences by completing the title of Ph.D. with a thesis titled "Reactivity of selenured phosphines to carbonyl clusters and metallic complexes".
Research Interest
1) Synthesis and characterization of innovative nanomaterials by gel sol techniques capable of effectively impregnating the surfaces of wood-cellulosic and lithitoid articles in order to preserve, consolidate and protect artifacts of artistic interest architectural against biotic and abiotic degradation 2) Synthesis and structural characterization of metallic selenites .3) Systematic study of the crystalline structure of methylene chloride and blue methylene compounds
