Chemical-physical characterization of compounds of pharmaceutical interest. The research activity is mainly aimed at resolving problems related to the preformulation phase of drugs: crystalline polymorphism, quantification of amorphous content, drug-excipient compatibility, preparation of salts and cocrystals to improve the pharmaceutical behavior of drugs.
