Biography
Federico Pirzio was born in Broni (PV) on May 29th, 1978. He received the degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pavia (110/110) in March 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science in January 2007. From June 2007 to September 2011 he’s been post doctoral fellow at the Electronics Department of the University of Pavia. Since October 2011 Federico Pirzio is assistant professor at the University of Pavia.
Research Interest
Solid-state diode pumped sources. Ultrasonic pulse sources (ps-fs). Nonlinear optics: parametric conversion, generation of harmonics. Power Amplifiers.
