Biography
From September 2011 Dr. Capriotti is a researcher at a certain time at the Department of Chemistry. She graduated in Analytical Chemistry and Applied Methodologies in 2009 with 110/110 at Sapienza. In 2011 she spent 7 months at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine for a project in collaboration with Prof. Matthias Selbach. In December 2012 he received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry of Real Systems by discussing the thesis: "Shotgun proteomic analytical approach to characterizing" protein coronas "of different liposome nanovectors suitable for gene delivery". Dr. Capriotti's research deals with the development of innovative analytical methodologies based on liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry for the determination of xenobiotic or endogenous substances present in various matrices such as food, surface waters, tissues and biological fluids, cells and tissues plant. His interest is also focused on proteomics by applying nanoseparative techniques coupled with high resolution spectrometry, and in the study of interactions between nanomaterials and biological fluids.
