Biography
"Daniela Esu, Associate Professor of Paleontology (GEO / 01 scientific-disciplinary sector) at the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences at the University of Rome ""Sapienza"", is a member of the Education Area Council of Science and Technology for Nature, 'Environment and Territory and the Department of Earth Sciences of the same university. He is a professor of Paleontology for the Natural Sciences Degree Course and, for 2012-2013, Paleolemology and Palinology for the Master's Degree in Natural History Conservation and Dissemination. The research activity is mainly focused on the study of the Paleontology of Continental invertebrates, in particular of the Terrestrial and Quaternary molluscs of terrestrial, Quercus and squidfish in the Mediterranean area. In particular, the systematic, paleoecological, paleoclimatic and paleobiogeographic aspects of the mollusc farming associations of the continental basins and transition environments of the Italian Cenozoic and their relations with the European fauna fauna have been addressed. The results were presented at numerous international and national conferences and published on numerous international and national journals."
