Biography
Born in Catania (1948), he graduated in Chemistry at the University of La Sapienza in Rome (1971) and obtained his degree in chemistry (1973). He is currently Associate Professor of Merceology (Merchandise Chemistry) at the Faculty of S.M.F.N. of the University of La Sapienza in Rome. During her academic career, she has held several teaching courses [Clinical Analytical Chemistry, Quantitative Chemistry Analysis Exercises, Electrical Measures, Food Chemistry, Organoleptic Evaluation Methodologies of Foods] in Bachelor's and Specialization Schools - Its main research lines can be summarized as follows - Basic studies (solving, synthesis and solid state balance equations) - Solution methodological simulation for solids subjected to heating - Biotechnological Applications - Analytical methods of application interest (development of new methodologies for the determination of analytes in real matrices with particular regard to analytical-environmental and product-related issues)
