Biography
Born in Rome on 9/3/77. Graduated in Chemistry with praise at Univ. of Rome 'La Sapienza' in 2000. In 2001 he received the Degree Award of the Analytical Chemistry Division of SCI. In 2003 he was visiting researcher at the National Institute of Chemistry (Ljubljana, Slovenia). Later, he won a three month Marie Curie scholarship, coordinated by Dr. Marjana Novic (Ljubljana, Slovenia). In 2004 he received a Ph.D. in Chemistry (University of Rome, La Sapienza). In the years 2004-08, he has been the holder of a Research Certificate at the Department of Chemistry of the University. of Rome 'La Sapienza'. Since 2007 he has been a visiting researcher at the Univ. of Copenhagen where he collaborated with prof. Rasmus Bro. Since November 1, 2008 he is an unverified researcher at Univ. of Rome "La Sapienza". Other titles: - member of the Italian Chemical Society (2001-) and the American Chemical Society (2006-). - referee of several international scientific journals - member of the Editorial Board of Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems (2008-), Analytica Chimica Acta (2011-). - winner of the "Young Researcher Award" of the SCI Analytical Chemistry Division for the year 2006. - winner of the "Elsevier Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems Award" in 2012. - associate editor of the "Encyclopedia of Analytical Chemistry" of Wiley (2013-).
