Born: December 21, 1960 in Rome (Italy). Education: Liceo Classico Statale "T. Mamiani", Rome, 1974-1979; Diploma with max. marks (60/60), 1979. Laurea in Chimica Magna cum Laude, University of Rome "La Sapienza", December 10, 1985. Fellowship II University of Rome "Tor Vergata", 1987. Ph.D. Fellowship, University of Rome "La Sapienza" 1988-1990; Ph.D. Diploma in Chemical Sciences, 1991. Technical research associate, University of Rome "La Sapienza", Department of Chemistry, 1991-2001. Post-Doctoral Fellowship, University of Rome "La Sapienza", 1992-1993. Assistant Professor in Organic Chemistry, University of Rome "La Sapienza", 2001. Since 2001, Lecturer of Organic Chemistry, University of Rome "La Sapienza". Author of some 30 scientific papers, books and book chapters and referee of international journals in the field of organic chemistry and natural products.
