Biography

Maria Assunta Navarra graduates in Chemistry with praise at the University of Rome La Sapienza in A. 2000/2001. In January 2006 he holds the title of Doctor of Science Research in Materials Science at the same University. He received two important awards: the 2007 Prize of the Ph.D. "Oronzio Foundation and Niccolò De Nora" awarded by the Electrochemical Division of the Italian Chemical Society and the Eni Italgas Prize "Debut in Research", XIX edition, for the studies conducted on new applied technologies to fuel cells. He has long periods of training at universities and colleges, such as Chalmers University of Technology (Gothenburg, Sweden), Hunter College of the City of New York (New York City), Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, USA), Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research (ZSW, Ulm, Germany), creating profitable and long-lasting collaborations. Since January 2010 he is a researcher T.D. at the Department of Chemistry of Wisdom, a disciplinary branch of Physical Chemistry. He has been the holder of the "Environment and Cultural Heritage" teaching of the Laurea Magistrale in Science and Technology for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage at La Sapienza; currently holds the title "Chemistry of Cultural Heritage and Electrochemical Methods" in the same degree course. It concerns the HYDRO-ECO Research Center "Hydrogren as an alternative and ecological energy carrier" of Wisdom. In 2008 he participated in the foundation of the company "Eco Recycling", the first SPIN OFF of technology transfer, in the special waste disposal sector, of the University of Rome "La Sapienza". It obtains National Scientific Ability in the first competition (2012) for the sectors 03 / A2 - Models and Methodologies for Chemistry and 03 / B2 - Chemical Fundamentals of Technologies (II band).
