Biography

Antonio Puglisi was born in Messina (Me) 23 September 1989. After the classical high school degree, received on July 11, 2007 in Messina at the Liceo Classico "G. La Farina", he enrolled in the University of Messina, where he obtained earlier the bachelor's degree, 29 March 2011, and later the master's degree, 24 October 2013, in Chemistry, with 110/110, with a thesis entitled "Synergic composite kinetic molecular devices. Dispenser of H+ and Cl- ions". In November 2014 he registered to XXX doctoral program at the University of Rome "Sapienza", where he deals with the synthesis of enantioselective organocatalizzate biarili through the use of quinones. In June 2015 he joined the 7th Max Quant Summer School at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried, Monaco of Bavaria, Germany. In his academic path, he is concerned with the interactions between systems in a homogeneous aqueous solution, in which the spontaneous reaction of a substance, the first system, generates a variation of an environmental parameter (pH, T, I) which is modulated by means of the interaction with a second system and measured through the observation of a third system, sensitive to the variation of the parameter itself. In the first part of his PhD he also carried out a study of the interaction between liposomal systems and biological fluids under dynamic conditions.
