Biography
Born in Lecce on March 31, 1977 Graduated in Mathematics on 30.10.2001 at the University of Salento with thesis titled: Orbite 2-transitive in the finished projective planes. Ph.D. in Mathematics 26.06.2005 at the University of Salento with a thesis entitled: The Bounded Cofman Problem. Holder of a Research Certificate at the University of Salento in the three-year period 2005-2008. Researcher at the University of Salento since 2008. Author of about thirty publications in the field of Combination Geometry. Professor of Geometry II Courses and Encryption and Coding Systems for the Mathematics Degree Course at the Department of Mathematics and Physics "E. De Giorgi" of the University of Salento.
Research Interest
- Projective planes and their groups of automorphisms: characterization of projective planes with large groups of hills with a prescribed local action. - Linear spaces and their groups of automorphisms: linear spaces with parallelism and relationships with group partitions. - t-spreads and t-parallelisms of a projective space on a Galois field.
