Biography
Bari was born in Bari, graduated in Economics and Business (Bari, 1993), specializes in Applied Economics and Applied Econometrics (Master Coripe, Turin, 1994; Master in Economics, Essex, 1995; MSc in Economics, Scottish Doctoral Program, 1997 ) and obtained the title of Doctor of Research in Economics of Population and Development (Bari, 1999), with a thesis on "Economic and Human Capital Development" and PhD in Economics with a thesis titled "Measuring Efficiency in Developing Countries "(Glasgow, 2005). During his stay in the United Kingdom, he is doing research, teaching (for the University of Glasgow, Caledonian University, University of Edinburgh) and counseling (for the Scottish Council Foundation). After staying in the UK, Between 2003 and 2004 she has been pursuing her research work at the University of Munich (Germany) for a year, as a Marie Curie Fellow, and she started a collaboration with the University of Zurich. In 2004, through the "Brain Returns" program, it is recalled with a three-year contract at the University of Lecce, where it develops a research program on "Regional Cycles and Economic Growth in Italy" and holds the title of Econometrics, Applied Economics and Growth Economics. As a Scientific Responsible, he organizes the annual "Summer School in Computational Economics - Programming in MatLab", at the University of Lecce. Since 2005 he has been a Local Organizer of the Econometrics course for participants in the PhD programs organized by the CIDE (Interuniversity Center for Econometrics) at the University of Lecce. He participated in numerous international conferences and published the results of his research in magazines and books in Italy and abroad, including Applied Economics, Bulletin of Economic Research, World Development, Journal of Produc- tivity Analysis, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, Empirical Economics .
