Biography
Associate Professor of Algebra (MAT / 02) at the Faculty of Science MM. FF. NN. from the University of Salento from November 1, 1992. From March 20, 1985 to October 31, 1992, a university researcher of the disciplinary group 89 (Algebra and Geometry) at the Faculty of Science MM. FF. NN. of the University of Lecce. Graduated in Mathematics at the University of Lecce on October 4, 1980. Member of the Editorial Board of Pure Mathematics and Applications magazine since 2006. Scientific secretary of the Mathematical Notes magazine since 1997. Member of the College of Professors of the Doctorate in Mathematics of the University of Salento since 2001 of the Doctoral School of Mathematics and Informatics of the ' University of Salento. He is currently a member of the University of Salento's University Quality Presidium. He has been Chairman of the Lecce University Degree Course in Mathematics from 2001 to 2004 and of the Mathematics Council of the Salento University from 2008 to 2015. He was co-organizer of the international conferences Advances in Group Theory and Applications 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015 held in Porto Cesareo (LE). He was co-organizer of the international conference Advances in Group Theory and Applications 2007 held in Otranto (LE). He was co-organizer of the Theory of Groups and Applications group that was held in Lecce in 2000.
Research Interest
Structural bonds between the Lie ring associated with a semilocal ring and its group added in a situation of Lie's solubility of the ring. Study of the behavior of some chains of ideals of a group algebra R [G] that have a close connection with the derived chain of group G. Calculation of the derived length of Lie algebras associated with group algebras and Lie Liege algebra envelopes.
