Biography
Born in Lecce on 18/06/1965, Italian nationality, Giorgio De Nunzio is from 2001 Researcher Confirmed in "Applied Physics (Cultural Heritage, Environmental, Biology and Medicine)", SSD FIS / 07, at the Faculty of Science MM. FF.NN. of the University of Salento (former University of Lecce) in which he is Professor Aggregate; it draws on the Department of Mathematics and Physics of the same University. It is associated with INFN. QUALIFICATIONS He graduated in Physics in 1991 at the University of Lecce, with the thesis: 'Non-linear Phenomena in Acetanilide: Theories and Experiments' (110/110 and Praise). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1995 at the Université de Montpellier II (Montpellier, France) with the thesis' Etude des excitations vibrationnelles non-harmoniques dans des cristaux moléculaires possédant des chaînes unidirectionnelles de liaisons hydrogène: l'acétanilide et ses dérivés deutérés' (Commission's assessment: 'Très honorable et félicitations du jury'). The title of Doctor of Research was recognized by MURST (who had also funded residence abroad) and declared equivalent to the corresponding Italian title. CURRENT RESEARCH ACTIVITIES: Current Research Areas are the application of Physics and Informatics to Medicine and the Territory (for the preservation of artistic and cultural heritage). TEACHING ACTIVITY Giorgio De Nunzio was from 2001/02 at the beginning collaborator / examiner and then responsible for the "Physics Laboratory" course at the CD of Biological Sciences (VO). He was responsible for the course "Physical Curriculum Laboratory for Healthcare"(III year of the Technological Curriculum, three years in Physics) (from 2003/04 to 2007/08 without interruption). He was responsible for the course of "Physical Techniques for Biomedicine". (The year of the so-called Specialist in Physics) (from 2005/06 to 2008/09 without interruption). In 2009/10 she was responsible for module A of the course "Physical Techniques for Diagnostics and Monitoring "(the year of the CFL in Physics). He is currently responsible for the" Medical Diagnostic Techniques "course and has also collaborated with various other CFL courses in Physics.
