Research Interest
GEOMETRIA RIEMANNIANA AND PSEUDO-RIEMANNIANA. The main sources of research are listed below in chronological order: "BALL-HOMOGENEOUS SPACE": In a homogeneous Riemanniano space, the volume of a small geodetic sphere depends only on its radius but not from its center. This geometric property is assumed to define the class of the varieties referred to as "Ball-homogeneous spaces". The question whether this condition is equivalent to local homogeneity has led to numerous affirmative partial answers, including applications to other well-known problems of Riemannian Geometry
