Biography
Giovanni Marsella was born in La Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland) on 12/02/1966, Scientologist "C. De Giorgi" in Lecce, graduated in Physics at the University of Pisa. After a couple of years of post-graduate fellowship at the INFN (National Institute of Nuclear Physics), I went to the IAC (Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias) in the island ofThe Palmin the Canary Islands (Spain), he won the Ph.D. in Physics XI cycle at the University of Lecce. He received his Ph.D. degree on February 22, 1999 with an experimental thesis entitled "High altitude atmospheric shower detection techniques for gamma-ray Astronomy". After winning an INFN four-year scholarship, in 2001 he was awarded a B01A Researcher at the SS.MM.FF.NN faculty of the University of Lecce where he will be confirmed in 2004. From September 2017 Prof. Associate FIS04 sector at The University of Salento .
