Current Position : Ordinary Professor at the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics. Visiting Professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Bologna. Education : 1992 Ph.D. in History of Economic Doctrines (University of Florence) .1980 Degree in Economics and Business (University of Bologna). Member of : Italian Association for the History of Economic Thinking, History of Economics Society, History of Economic Thought Society in Australia. Referees for : History of Political Economy, Economics of Social Economy, History of Economic Ideas, Italian Economic Thinking, The European Journal of the History of Economic Thought, History of Economic Thinking. Editorial activity : Component of the Advisory Board of the European Journal of the History of Economic Thought. Prizes and awards : Winner of the History of Economics Society (USA) prize for the best article in History of Economic Thinking 2008. First ranked among the faculty members of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Lecce in the poll "Give a Vote to Your Faculty "performed by the students of the Faculty and published on the Corriere del Mezzogiorno of May 21, 2004.
