Biography
He received his degree in Mathematics (general address) with 110/110 votes and praise. Professor at a contract with the University of Basilicata from October 1986 to January 1991.Since February 1991 researcher (group 90: Mathematical Analysis) at the Faculty of Science MM.FF.NN. of the University of Bari.ince November 1992 Associate Professor Group A021 Analysis Mathematics at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Molise and since November 1993 at the Faculty of Engineering of Polytechnic of Bari.Since October 1, 2000, an extraordinary professor at the 1st Faculty of Engineering of the Politecnico di Bari. Since October 1, 2003 he has been a professor at the 1st Faculty of Engineering of Polytechnic of Bari and from November 1, 2003 at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Salento.
Research Interest
Approximation of degenerate parabolic problem solutions by means of iterates of positive operators; connections between Voronovskaja type formulas, Semigroup theory and cosine functions. Qualitative properties of semigroups and connections with the regularity of parabolic problem solutions. Theory of operators for the study of degenerative parabolic problems solutions; connections with approximation processes. General aspects of the Korovkin approximation theory. Comparison of continuous multivalent functions in the sense of Hausdorff. Approximation of integrable functions according to Riemann by continuous polynomials and functions. Proximity operators in spaces of continuous and summable functions. Ordinary differential equations in Banach spaces. Fixed point theorems and applications to nonlinear analysis problems and ordinary differential equations.
