Biography
Education: He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at the University of Bari, a Master in Banking and Finance and a PhD in Banking and Finance at the University of Wales in Bangor (Great Britain). Current position: He is Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries at the University of Salento. He is Visiting Researcher at the University of Wales in Bangor (Great Britain). Other Qualifiers: Co-ordinator of the Commission for Research Promotion of the University of Salento. It was: Vicar Predecessor of the University of Salento; Coordinator of the Evaluation Core; Component of the Research Observatory of the University of Salento; Responsible for the University of Salento as a consortium of the PhD in Banking and Finance at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata"; Component of the "Laboratory of Assistance to Local Authorities" of the Department of Corporate and Legal Studies of the Salento University; Head of Lecce University Master in Management Management. He was also a member of the National Board of Accountants for the following committees: European Capital Markets Reporting Project Group, at the Fédération Général des Experts Comptables Européens (FEE) in Brussels, which co-operates with the Financial Information Task Force (CESR) for the implementation of the European Directive on the "Prospectus"; "Common Content" Task Force for Chartered Accountant;); "Finance and Economics of Financial Intermediaries"). He is a Chartered Accountant and is registered in the Register of Accountants and CTUs.
Research Interest
The research activities involved participation in different national and international research projects, including those set up by the universities of Lecce, Bocconi in Milan and Wales in Bangor (Great Britain), funded by MURST-MIUR funds and the " University of Lecce.
