Biography

Ordinary Professor of Health and Environmental Engineering conducts scientific research activities in the areas of waste water treatment, solid waste disposal and environmental impact assessment. Doctor of Environmental Health Engineering Research, has won scholarships and has obtained numerous contracts for research. Since 1996 he has been a professor at the University of Salerno where he subsequently took up as a researcher. In 2000 he won the comparative benchmark for a position of associate professor in the Environmental Health Engineering industry. Since 2001 he has been responsible for the Environmental Engineering Laboratory of the University of Salerno. Since 2004 he has been an ordinary at the Faculty of Engineering of the same University, where he currently teaches in the courses of Environmental Health Care Facilities, Disposal of Solid Waste and Reclamation of contaminated sites. Since 2007 he is visiting professor at Cranfield University in England. He coordinated research groups in activities funded by MIUR, the Government of Cyprus, the Campania Region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NATO. He has also been a scientific director of numerous applied research conventions signed by the University of Salerno with public and private bodies. It performs refereeing activities on research projects or precompetitory development for various national and international organizations. He has been a consultant to the Parliamentary Commission for Inquiry into the Waste Cycle and the related illicit activities. He is extraordinary commissioner under Law no. 1 of January 24, 2011 for the completion of the procedures for the realization and management of an anaerobic digestion plant in the Campania Region. He is the author or co-author of over 200 publications in the field of environmental engineering in magazines and papers of national and international conferences and associated publisher of Desalination and Water Treatment. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of Toxicology and Global Nest. It has over 1000 quotes in international ISI publications and a Hirsch index of 22 (www.scopus.com). environmental engineering in magazines and national and international conference papers and associated publisher of Desalination and Water Treatment. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of Toxicology and Global Nest. It has over 1000 quotes in international ISI publications and a Hirsch index of 22 (www.scopus.com). environmental engineering in magazines and national and international conference papers and associated publisher of Desalination and Water Treatment. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of Toxicology and Global Nest. It has over 1000 quotes in international ISI publications and a Hirsch index of 22 (www.scopus.com).
