Costabile Chiara

Biography

Chiara Costabile was born in Salerno on October 25, 1975. She graduated with honors at the University of Salerno in 1999 . He obtained the title of Doctor of Research in 2003 , with a thesis titled "Ziegler-Natta Polymerization Mechanisms for Conjugated Dienes" at the same university, tutor prof. Gaetano Guerra. During the last year of his PhD, he spent 6 months at the California Institute of Technology (Pasadena, CA), a guest at the labs of prof. John E. Bercaw for carrying out a NMR study of the complex solution (eta3-C8H13) Co (C4H6) behavior. She worked between 2003 and 2004 as a professor in the group of prof. Pasquale Longo on a project titled "Study and development of new easily functionalize hydrocarbon polymers". Between 2005 and 2015 he has been a researcher in the CHIM / 03 (General Chemistry) field at the University of Salerno. In 2006 he obtained a postgraduate scholarship from the University of Zurich and worked for six months at the laboratories of the Department of Organic Chemistry at the University of Zurich of prof. Reto Dorta, dealing with the synthesis of new N-etherocyclic carbenes. He has been awarded the National Scientific Enrollment 2012 as associate professor in the 03 / B1 (Foundations of Chemical Sciences and Inorganic Systems) and 03 / B2 (Chemical Technology Fundamentals) and National Scientific Enabling Authority 2013 as Professor Associate in the sector 03 / C2 (Industrial Chemistry). Since 2015 he has been associate professor in CHIM / 03 (General Chemistry) at the University of Salerno Scientific activity is attested by over 40 publications in international journals.
