Biography
Enrica De Falco graduated in 1981 with honors at the Faculty of Agriculture of Naples Federico II, disciplinary group AGR02, she is a member of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Salerno and is a professor of II fascia, "Workshop Cultures" and "Cultivation of Plants for the Production of Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals". In the field of university, he has been involved in the connection with the workplace through the "Apprenticeship" and "Job Placement" Commissions and the Campus Campania projects (POR Campania 2000-2006) and "Schola 2". He is a member of the College of Doctors of the Ph.D. "Systems Biology" University of Salerno. Scientific activity has focused on the use of plants for environmental purposes, physiological aspects, agronomic and qualitative characteristics of Mediterranean foodstuffs of particular functional interest, evaluation of eco-compatible crop systems, study of forage systems and pastures in southern areas, evaluation of nitrogen fixation, study of dye, aromatic and medicinal plants for different and innovative uses, which is documented by over 70 contributions and 2 patents related to dye plants. He has been responsible for the research projects: CNR "agronomic analysis of spelled" and "Efficiency of nitrogen utilization in wheat in relation to precession and fertilization level"; POM "Environmental, agronomic and economic role of grain legumes for the enhancement of low environmental impact culture systems"; CRAA "Analysis of toxicity profiles and technological parameters of smaller cereals and other species suitable for cultivation to be used for the production of dietary foods for celiac disease"; Campania Region - Scientific Research - L.5 / 2002 "Bio-morphological, agronomic and qualitative evaluation of cicerchia cultivars (Lathyrus sativus L.) harvested in the Mediterranean area", Parco del Cilento and Vallo di Diano "Study of dye plants to be used to the fabric chain for the creation of Area Trademarks "(Interreg IIIC Tools" Park Line "). Currently working with the MiDA Foundation for the Valorization of Pertosa White Artichoke Scraps for dye use and with the Springcolor company for the development of ecological paints for bio-building.
