Biography
Current education and location : Francesco De Riccardis graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology with 110/110 and praised in 1989 at the University of Naples "Federico". In 1992 he received the title of PhD in Chemistry of Natural Pharmacologically Active Organic Substances. " Since March 15, 2001 he is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science MM. FF. NN, where he is doing research at the Department of Chemistry and Biology. Experiences : From 15/4/1993 to 14/4/1994 he worked in the United States at the research laboratories of prof. KC Nicolaou at the Scripps Research Institute in San Diego, California. From July to October 1998, Dr. De Riccardis was Visiting Professor at Stony Brook University in New York. From March 2004 to February 2005, Prof. De Riccardis was invited to cover the role of Visiting Professor at the Scripps Research Institute in San Diego, California, working with Professor Alber Eschenmoser. Skills: Prof. De Riccardis has a proven experience and expertise in organic synthesis synthesis of biologically active molecules. His research is the subject of more than 60 publications, international scientific journals and chapters of internationally-available books, and over 60 scientific communications at national and international congresses. Management skills: Prof. De Riccardis is coordinator of a research group in the synthesis of biologically active organic compounds. From 2011 he is Deputy Director of the Department of Chemistry and Biology at the University of Salerno and since 2009 is coordinator of the didactic activity of the Degree in Chemistry.
